The Residential Parking Program (RPPP) is meant to provide parking availability for those who live in residential areas with consistently high volumes of non-resident parking. For more information on the RPPP, contact the Department of Public Works Transportation Division at (510) 583-4730.

• Santa Clara Area (Elmhurst St., Townsend Ave., Santa Clara St., Surrey Way)
• Ocie Way Area (Ocie Way, Edloe Dr.)
• Modoc Avenue Area (Modoc Ave., Highland Blvd., University Ct.)
• Parkside Drive Area (Parkside Dr., Rainbow Ct.)
• So. Hayward BART Area (Dixon St., Valle Vista Ave., Copperfield Ave., E. 13^th St., Montecello St., E. 12^th St., E. 11^th St., E. 10^th St., Cole Pl., O'Harron Dr., Pacific St., Tennyson Rd.)
• Happyland Avenue Area (Happyland Ave., Fuller Ave.)
• Westpark Street Area (Westpark St., Marvin Way, Barker Ave.)

If you live in a parking permit area and would like to be apply for a parking permit, please visit hayward.permitinfo.net. Data Ticket is the vendor the City has contracted with to provide this service.

You will be required to set up an account, which will require adding your vehicle information, name, phone number, email address, and selecting your address. Additionally, you will be required to select a password so you may access your account in the future for renewals, vehicle changes, etc.

You will need to upload proof of residency in order to request and receive parking permits. Upon review and verification of your proof of residency and vehicle registration, your permit(s) will be mailed to you within seven business days. You will also be able to print out temporary permits to be displayed in your windshield until your permanent permit(s) arrive.
