The Hayward Police Department has redrawn its patrol areas to coincide with Hayward’s new City Council election districts and is holding a first round of new patrol area community meetings starting late next month with District 2.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 26, starting at 6:30 p.m., at the Hayward Police North Resource Center at 22701 Main Street. It will include a police crime and safety update and an opportunity for discussion of area-specific concerns and issues.
District 2 is generally bordered by Mission Boulevard to the east, W. Harder Road to the south, W. Jackson and Amador streets and the Union Pacific Railroad line to the west, and the Hayward city limits to the north.
If you have questions about the upcoming community meeting, contact Lieutenant Ryan Sill at (510) 293-3450 or ryan.sill@hayward-ca.gov.
